Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensure exceptional guest satisfaction throughout an outstanding bar experience
- Handle enquiries, manage bookings and ensure smooth operational flows, Coordinate functions and events with the team and external parties
- Back office duties, incl. cash ups, invoicing, stock control, basic reporting, bookkeeping as well as safeguarding of assets, incl. lock-up and asset reconciliations
- Control and place purchases and inventory negotiate prices and contracts; developing preferred supplier lists; reviewing and evaluating usage reports; analyzing variances; taking corrective actions.
- Maintain guest satisfaction by monitoring, evaluating, and auditing food, beverage, and service offerings; initiating improvements; building relationships with preferred guests.
- Maintains safe, secure, and healthy facility environment by establishing, following, and enforcing sanitation standards and procedures; complying with health and legal regulations; maintaining security systems.
- Accomplish restaurant and bar human resource objectives by recruiting, selecting, orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, and disciplining bar/restaurant staff; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
Minimum Requirements
- 5 years recent and stable experience in a similar position in bar and restaurant operations.
- excited and passionate about beer
- Understanding of BOH, FOH management
- have own transport and able to work nights’ weekends and shifts
- Self-motivated & driven
- Excellent PR Skills & HR management, an understanding of restaurant accounting procedures and financial decision making sock management and inventory and control (ordering) outstanding interpersonal skills and communication abilities
- Honest & reliable
- Able to work under pressure
- Able to execute instructions and ideas
- Excellent organizing and planning skills and good time-keeping
- Financial acumen and attention to detail
- Experience with MICROS, GAAP or equivalent restaurant information management system
- Working knowledge of MS Office and google docs (being open to new technology and innovation)
- Learning Strategies — Selecting and using training/instructional methods and procedures appropriate for the situation when learning or teaching new things.
- Ability to work cohesively with fellow colleagues as part of a team
