Featuring: Shyleen Tseriwa
Born and raised in Zimbabwe; Shyleen is reserved; sweet ambitious and determined. She is the youngest of 6 children and completed her A-levels in 2012. Searching for her dream, Shyleen moved to the Mother City in 2014 to start her Journey of Discovery. She dreamed of a career in hospitality and her tenacity landed her a job as a Runner at Beerhouse Long Street 9 months ago. Although she works with food at the moment; her ultimate goal that she has set for herself is to be a Chef. Her gentle nature doesn’t hide her secret super-power very well – she’s a little ray of smiling; helpful sunshine to everyone who crosses her path. In another life, Shyleen was a Coconut Drifter – light; refreshing… just like her.
Shyleen says she loves working at Beerhouse because “We work as a family. I get to meet different people every day and learn different languages.”
Shyleen’s top 3 reasons for working at Beerhouse:
1. I can help my family financially.
2. I get more experience about Beers.
3. I’m learning how to make good and healthy food.
