Featuring: Employee Champions
Employees form the core of Beerhouse. Without our employees, our beers cannot find their way to the happy hearts of customers. Our Beerlovers cannot experience their BeerJourney. In order to make absolutely sure that our #Humans are taken care of, we tasked each Beerhouse Team to elect and appoint their own Champion; someone who will be their link to management, who can voice their concerns and suggestions in a way that is impactful and can bring about change. Our teams took that task to heart and elected a Champion at each of our Beerhouse restaurants.
Team Fourways is represented by Qondile “Q” Sibanda
”After careful analysis and research, I have gathered that the gap between management and employees came about as a result of matters and feelings being bottled-up by employees as well as a general perception that employee opinions are not taken seriously. So I intend to be the person that fosters the link between management and the employees and ensures that their concerns are properly heard and treated with serious magnitude in a professional manner. I also intend to bring about the family spirit in my tenure as Employee Champion.”
Our Employee Champion for Team Long Street is Wesley Gwaze who notes:
“As Employee Champ I will try to break the conflict between staff and management like creating a great work family. I will also get together with employees and solves their issues if need be. And also convince management for necessary employee requirements and benefits.”
Clara Kandawasvika represents Team Centurion
“As Beerhouse Centurion Employee Champion, I would like to thank everyone for the trust and faith in me and electing me their representative. My aim is to guide the employees and management team to a more amicable working relationship by always listening objectively, and relaying information without bias. I will do my very best to make sure the staff do not feel undermined or abused and to also make sure the staff understand that the management deserve the same respect that they give. I am here to create balance between all staff members, and hope that I play a key role in finding solutions and making Beerhouse Centurion a home-away-from-home.’
Clara, Wesley and Q are most certainly up to the challenge of being an immediate link between our individual employees and their managers. Cheers to fostering great relationships; clear communication and an inspiring work environment.
